Winter activities

In addition to slopes, Paljakka offers its wintertime visitors a wide variety of activities.

Snowmobile enthusiasts will be pleased to find a trail network covering around 2000 kilometres of well maintained snowmobile routes. Guided snowmobile safaris are arranged by Paljakan Aurinkosafarit Oy, who also offer snowmobile hire for active enthusiasts to snowmobile independently.

Paljakka also offers meaningful experiences for cross-country skiers. Paljakka and its environs have a network of almost a hundred kilometres of top standard cross-country skiing trails traversing hilly landscapes.
