Paljakka is located in the Municipality of Puolanka, in the heart of the most beautiful part of Kainuu, around an hour’s drive north from the provincial capital, Kajaani.
The most important winter tourism products are downhill skiing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. In the summertime, the visitors to Paljakka enjoy hiking, fishing and mountain biking. Minigolf and tennis can also be played in the area.
