Snowshoe hire
Equipment hire always includes instructions for using the equipment and directions to the best routes.

Maximum 3 hours: 6 €/pair, sticks 2 €, warm footwear 3 €. Entire package 10 €.

Maximum 1 day: 9 €/pair, sticks 3 €, warm footwear 4 €. Entire package 15 €.
Next days: 5 €/pair, sticks 1 €, warm footwear 1 €. Entire package 6 €.

Snowmobile hire:

The snowmobile hire shop is located in a central area in the Paljakkatalo House.
Easy access to the routes directly from the hire shop grounds. Good route alternatives can be found for independent trips and snowmobiling. The entire 2000 kilometres trail network of Kainuu is one part of the Paljakka well maintained snowmobile routes. Our staff is please to help you choose the most suitable route, and will tell you which routes are in the best and most even condition. The snowmobile routes of the area are machine maintained with large tampers and route levellers, so the routes are usually in great condition. The machine maintained routes are approximately 3 – 4 metres wide.

When hiring a snowmobile, you should be at least 15 years old and have at least a tractor licence.

Prices
The price includes the snowmobile, riding gear for a maximum of two persons, driving permit for the routes, route map, comprehensive insurance cover, with excess (own liability) maximum of 600 €.

Please note! Prices for 1 – 3 hours also include fuel.

These models are also suited for pulling a sleigh. (sleighs for 2 – 8 persons).

Sleigh hire includes a surcharge of 10 €/time (includes riding gear for passengers).
