Slopes

Paljakka is Kainuu’s highest ski resort. The height difference of slopes is 190 metres. Paljakka has 13 slopes, six of which are illuminated. The seven ski lift capacity is 8000 persons an hour.

Changes in the tourism business, places new demands on comfort for tourist destinations. The winter is still the main tourist season, but plenty of customers is also visiting the area summer and autumn time. The summer landscape and available opportunities for recreational activities are increasingly important factors in the region to attract customers.
